General terms and conditions

Reservation / Rental Agreement

Your reservation request can be made by phone, email or in writing. With the dispatch of the booking confirmation by Insel & mehr, the reservation is binding for the guest. For the landlord and the agent, the reservation becomes binding only through the transfer of the deposit or total rental amount.

Arrival

The rental property is available as follows:
on the day of arrival from 16:00 on the day of departure until 10:00
Deviations are possible by telephone agreement.

Payment

All payments are to be made free of charges to Insel & mehr. The net bank receipt at Insel & mehr is decisive. The rental payment is made depending on the booking date and must be made no later than 14 days before arrival. For short-term bookings, the rental payment is to be transferred immediately.

Travel Cancellation

In case of cancellation of the fixed reservation, which must always be made in writing, a calculation is made based on the cancellation table:
up to 50 days before the start of the trip = 10% of the rental price
. 30 - 50 days before the start of the trip = 25% of the rental price
. 20 - 30 days before departure = 50% of the rental price
7 - 20 days before departure = 70% of the rental price
0 - 7 days before the start of the trip = 90% of the rental price.

Travel Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance

Insel & mehr recommends taking out this insurance. The amount of the insurance premium can be found in the respective valid price table. With this insurance you are financially protected in the event of unforeseen loss of travel or travel interruption within the scope of the insurance conditions.

Number of people

Each apartment may only be occupied by the number of persons reserved and confirmed by Insel & mehr. If the number of persons is higher, the calculation will be made according to the valid price list. Analogously, this also applies to pets.

Pets

We ask for your understanding that we can only allow pets after consultation.

Liability

The renter is liable for all damages caused by Him.
He is responsible for the apartment for the rental period and undertakes to keep it in a neat and clean condition and to hand it over "broom-clean" to an employee at the end of the travel period.

The tenant bears his own risk in the event of improper handling of all items provided by the landlord.
This also includes the use of e.g. sauna, solarium, fitness area, kindergarten, etc.
A liability for damaged property, for personal injury, to the car, pet, etc. bears island & more not.

Claims

In principle, the tenant can assume that he will find a neat and orderly rental property upon arrival. If the tenant nevertheless has complaints about his vacation home, the local staff is available for settlement. If, in individual cases, the problem has not yet been solved, Insel & mehr must be informed immediately; at the latest, however, Insel & mehr must receive a written complaint within seven days after the return of the journey. Damages

For breaches of duty Insel & mehr is liable only in case of intent or gross negligence. Any further compensation for damages is excluded. Island & more is entitled in exceptional cases or in the event of force majeure to offer a replacement apartment.

Property Maintenance

Insel & mehr exclusively rents out houses and vacation apartments for which direct rental orders have been issued by the owners. Landlord is basically the owner of the rental property, island & more acts only as an agent of the lease.

Consumables on site

Please be advised that we rent vacation rentals and cottages. These differ significantly from hotel accommodations. Consumables, such as toilet paper or garbage bags you will find only in an initial equipment. The guests themselves are responsible for additional use. Usually previous tenants leave behind started items such as garbage bags or coffee filters. If not, we as landlords are not responsible for providing supplies. Missing consumables outside the initial supply are also not a reason for complaint. Optionally, you can book linen packages (bed linen, towels) with us. These are unique and are not exchanged, as with room service in a hotel. However, you have the option to rebook linen packages or individual components. Likewise, hygiene and cosmetic items are not provided. These are to be brought by the guest or bought at the resort.

Jurisdiction

The agreed place of jurisdiction is Bergen auf Rügen. Place of performance is the location of the respective object. The tenant recognizes the court responsible for his place of residence as the place of jurisdiction for claims against him and / or default. Island & more Touristik GmbH
